Action Indoor Sports Stadiums are committed to developing children's health and physical activity. We strongly believe that as a community we must actively encourage kids to become involved in active sports and leisure.
Action Junior Cricket is a modified version of the outdoor code. Played in the nets where cricket is ideal for kids as play is compact and kids can learn valuable skills while enjoying a fast moving active game.

Scoring Zones:
The ball hitting the net from the bat into any of the following areas. Please note that you must complete a run between running creases to be awarded any Zone bonus runs.
Zone A ( 1 Run )
Zone B ( 2 Runs )
Zone C ( 3 Runs )
Zone D on the full ( 6 Runs ), Please note you can be caught.
Zone D after contacting the side nets
( 4 Runs )
Zone D after the ball has hit the ground, and hit directly ( 5 Runs )
Action 6+ Zone on the full ( 11 runs ), please note you can't be caught, but can be run out.
Sundries: No Balls ( 2 runs ), Wides
( 2 runs ) All sundries to be re-bowled in the 12th over and 14th over of each
innings at the batters request.

PLAYING DAYS
Each team will play their games on Friday. There will be some games scheduled to be played on Sundays during each competition and all teams are expected to play all scheduled games.
11 & Under - Friday
13 & Under - Friday
15 & Under - Friday
17 & Under - Friday
GAME FEES
All of our competitions are run on a pay as you play basis, with each team simply having to pay their team's match fee prior to the start of each scheduled game. Our current fees are as follows:
Junior Competition - $33.00 per team per game and a $5 registration fee per player at the beginning of the season.
PLAYING TIMES
Games range from 4:00pm - 9:30pm, with the younger age groups being scheduled first.
SEASON TIMINGS
Our competition is run over Winter Months!
Winter League April to September
CANCELLATION OF GAMES
To enable us to maintain our payment structure, all teams must play all of their scheduled games. If a team cancels or defaults any game they will incur a $20.00 cancellation fee that must be paid prior to their next scheduled game.
