Action Indoor Cricket is fast, fun, easy to learn and based on traditional outdoor sport. The rules have been modified to allow for the fact that the game is being played not only indoors, but also within fully tensioned nets that add to the excitement of each game.

Every competition that we offer is fully serviced, with all necessary playing equipment, umpires and competition management provided by the stadium. All you have to do is turn up and play your game, we do everything else!

8 Aside Basics

  • The team is comprised of eight players.
  • A game consists of two innings, with each innings being comprised of sixteen six ball overs.
  • A typical game lasts for approximately one hour and ten minutes.
  • Each player must bowl two overs and bat in a partnership that lasts for four overs.
  • Batters may be dismissedin any of the manners associated with the traditional outdoor game, and they may also be caught out from the nets surrounding the court.
  • Zonal runs are scored when the ball is played into the nets surrounding the court, and zonal runs may only be scored if the batters also complete a successful physical run off the same delivery.
  • The remaining match rules are based on the traditional outdoor game, and are contained in a rule book that is available to all teams.
